Shibata is extremely helpful. Not only does the company publish a seasonal catalogue, but it also lends us product samples. Thanks to the company, we can do pre-sale on orders at our exhibitions and avoid the risk of carrying excessive inventory. In addition, the company’s planning staff and designers visit us every month, which gives us a great advantage. Their visits enable us to have additional items to cover shortages and make arrangements for items with different designs or colors. Also, they give us support promptly, leading to improvement in the percentage of items sold at standard prices each season.

– Retailer Operating Two Directly Managed Shops

It’s great that we can place orders ahead of the season at the company’s monthly exhibitions. We can talk not only with sales representatives but also with designers, so we can deliver our requests directly. Afterwards, they make samples promptly and visit us with their suggestions, a point we also appreciate. Moreover, we also feel that their permanent sales section, which carries actual products, is very convenient, because we can obtain seasonal products or cover shortages on the very day when we go to the section. We can also make additional orders by phone, meaning that we can place orders quickly when we find that we need to, which is very useful.

Shibata’s products, which have beautiful silhouettes and are made of excellent materials, sell well at our stores. We stock up cut-and-sew mainly from the Beautiful-Silhouette-Cut-and-Sew line, as well as bottoms. At their exhibitions, where they always display new products, we can obtain advice from sales representatives and designers from the company, allowing us to try buying new items that we’ve never handled before. We feel that their appropriate advice leads us to extend the scope of our suggestions to prospective customers and obtain new customers.

Company T

– Direct Manufacturer-to-Consumer Sale

We handle the brand Nuvel.Sports, whose main items come in S size. We like Shibata’s brands, especially because they cater to a wide range of sizes, and also because they present suggestions on total coordination of outfits. Our sales representatives have confidence in the wear comfort and silhouettes realized by Shibata with ardent passion. Customer satisfaction is, of course, very high, and bottoms in particular sell well at our stores.

Company L– Retailer

We purchase items from the Beautiful-Silhouette-Cut-and-Sew line, which make the wearers’ silhouettes look beautiful, and bottoms from the Viscotecs series. We handle such goods as our main products at all of our shops. These items, which bear a wide variety of originally designed prints and feature beautiful silhouettes, are popular not only among customers but also among our sales staff. Of course, they sell well at our stores. In addition, Shibata organizes monthly exhibitions where they always display new products, and the events serve as good opportunities for us to obtain information on the newest trends.

At each of the three places of our headquarters and our bases in Tokyo and Osaka, we hold 12 monthly exhibitions, totaling 36 exhibitions per year.
We release more than 300 new items each time.
In addition, every week, we provide five types of actual new items that are selling well.

Fashion World

This is one of Japan’s largest fashion exhibitions attracting all types of products from around the world.
We set a booth in this event, held twice a year, in spring and autumn.
